Consider this an early Christmas present, by treating yourself and a friend to this fabulous regrouping of many of the original entries in the very first show of Impressionist art in 1874, Paris. We’ll be spending the day at the National Gallery, where we have the opportunity to have a specially arranged hour-long guided tour of “French Art: Impressionism to the Early 20th Century” that will help to cement your information about the time and Impressionism and its artists.
This is a compliment to the Exhibit itself, which you can see either before or after the tours. Our group will be split into a tour at 12:45 and another at 1:15.
Lunch is on your own. You may have time to do some special Christmas shopping at the Gallery Giftshops. Follow the registration link to download a flyer for more information and directions for registering. Get your reservation in early, since this is an opportunity not to be missed. Washington is the ONLY American site where the show will be exhibited.
Call, text, or email Susan Leinberger with questions. (Contact informaion is on registration form.) Deadline for registration is October 31, so don’t delay – and there are only 40 seats available.
