The Shalom Project is a post-college gap year in Lancaster where participants live in intentional community while serving the Lancaster community in full-time professional internships. “Shalomies” value service, social justice and peace, community, an active lived faith, sustainability and simplicity, diversity and inclusion.
They have invited us to join them in one of their weekly seminars for intergenerational conversation—perhaps starting with life stories and leading to reflections on retirement vs entering the work force.
Registrants will recognize some of these folks from our “Let’s Talk” conversations last fall.
A great opportunity to connect with another demographic in our community.
