After much planning and interest surveys, Lancaster Downtowners, Landis Place on King and Steeple View are inviting you to regular Tuesday afternoon sessions to view and listen to Great Courses followed by group reactions and discussion. Downtowner Bob Jones will give leadership.
Two programs received equal interest as a result of surveys:
We will start with a ten-lecture series, Ten Great What Ifs of American History. Follow this link for the course description.
The second program will be a 36-lecture series, Earth at the Crossroads: Understanding the Ecology of a Changing Planet. Follow this link for this course description.
This first meeting, February 18, will start with considerations of logistics such as meeting frequency, substitute leadership etc. We will also begin the first lecture of Ten Great What Ifs.
The second series, Earth at the Crossroads, will begin sometime mid-April.
All program events will be on the Downtowner website and open to all Downtowners and non-Downtowner residents of LPK and SV. Please register to indicate your intent to participate.
