Hats are the talk of the town & Downtowners know how to jump start the conversation

On Friday, February 21, put on your best winter hat and meet Roberta and Nancy at high noon at the north east corner of King and Queen Streets in the plaza between the Welcome Center and the Griest Building. In case of rain we will meet next to the manager’s office in the southeast corner INSIDE the market house.

Together we will stroll through Central Market, eating pickles and buying vittles for supper.
For lunch we will commandeer as many of the tables along the south side of the market wall or upstairs. (Stairs are located behind the flower stand on the east wall.)

If you do not have a hat of which you are proud, take time to stop at Zanzibar on Hager Alley and outfit yourself for the occasion.

Consider combining this event with Lancaster Museum of Art: Portrait Exhibition, also scheduled for February 21. Check out the description found on the online Downtowner event calendar. Register for one or both events.
