Our first RRTA bus event for 2025. We’ll catch the 9:30 Route 17 bus at Queen Street Station and enjoy a 45 minute ride to Columbia. The Watch and Clock Museum is a three minute walk from the bus stop at corner of Chestnut and 5th St.

Following our tour of the museum, we will walk ten minutes to lunch at Columbia Kettleworks on N.Third Street.

From here on, the time is yours. You can return to Lancaster following lunch or extend your stay in Columbia be taking in one or two of the many antique markets. Inbound buses to Lancaster leave at  1:15, 1:45; 2:15; 2:45, 3:15; 4:05 – and even later. The closest bus stop to Kettle Works is a one minute walk. You will have help figuring out the exact location of the bus stop for the return trip.

Regular senior discount tickets to the museum are $12 but we are able to get a group discount rate of $8, payable upon registration (plus $.50 processing charge).

Bus transportation is free IF you have a Senior Discount Card. If you don’t have a card, simply go to the Queen Street office, document your age, and you will receive your discount card right away.
