Take the Elite coach to Brooklyn and spend the day at either or both venues. Artists- bring
your easels and paints – store them in the bus; art, furniture, sculpture, and garden
mavens rejoice! At the Brooklyn Museum, they are offering two wonderful exhibits:
"SOLID GOLD" and "BREAKING THE MOLD";
These two exhibits celebrate the 200th Anniversary of the BROOKLYN MUSEUM. On view are more than 500 “golden” works of art, fashion, film, music, and design; you can see longtime favorites and recent acquisitions.
In “Breaking the Mold: The Brooklyn Museum at 200,” the museum presents 3 chapters that boast both longtime favorites and brand-new standouts bringing new narratives while exploring the collection’s rich history and its future.
At the adjacent Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Daffodils, magnolias, and cherry trees are just a few
of the Spring plants and trees in bloom at this time of year!

Cost: $72.00 includes round-trip transportation to the Brooklyn Museum and Botanic Garden, driver
tip, coffee, treats, and water on the way home. Rest stops will be provided. Cost for guests is
$75.00pp. Purchase museum and garden admission tickets on your own
Departure from the Lancaster Shopping Center is 6am. Park on the outer edge of the parking lot
alongside and in back of the Planet Fitness.
Times: 6 am depart Shopping CenterArrive Brooklyn Museum and Botanic Garden – they share a parking lot, so can be walked to either
venue!
Tickets for seniors at Brooklyn Museum -$14; $17. With exhibit - Purchase at entrance; there is a
cafe.
Tickets for seniors at Brooklyn Botanic Gardens - $16. Café- Yellow Magnolia Café. For artists who
wish to work in the gardens, easels are not permitted in the Japanese Hill-and-Pond Garden,
the Conservatory, or flower beds. Please do not block paths.
Depart Brooklyn at 4:30pm; arrive in Lancaster around 8:30pm.
