Are you generally confused by different varieties of Mennonites and Amish in Lancaster County? Why are some Mennonites plain and others fancy? What's with the different styles of buggies and why will you never see an Amish person on a bicycle?
This visit to Mennonite Life on Lincoln Highway East is your opportunity to get it all straightened out. You will also visit the great museum display, Decorated and Plain, and have a tour through the historical library which features rare books and artifacts.
An added feature to this event is free transportation (if you have your senior citizen RRTA pass) via the 9:20 Route 14 RRTA bus. And following our visit you can enjoy coffee and lunch at Starbucks before you catch a return bus back to downtown.
Downtowners will subsidize the $15 admission so that you will only need to pay $10 on registration. Don't miss this great opportunity.
